As fellow citizens, we must demonstrate our continuing support and commitment to those New Jerseyans who have answered the call to military duty and who serve to protect our country both here and overseas. All employers, both those in the public as well as the private sector, must be aware of their obligations to assist these individuals in their transition to military service and back to employment, free from discrimination and consistent with the rights and protections they are afforded by law. For your guidance, review this brief summary of the various statutes which are applicable in these circumstances.
