VR provides post employment support for up to 90 Days after the person becomes stable on the job, thus ensuring a smooth transition into the workforce. Sometimes employment barriers are not identified until after a person goes to work (e.g. childcare issues, unreliable transportation, requirements of the job changes, need for additional accommodations becomes apparent, etc.) This additional support enhances the likelihood of a more compatible job match and puts the focus of resources on eliminating barriers in a specific worksite setting.
