The New Jersey Foster Care Scholars Program helps youth aging-out of New Jersey’s foster care system afford a college education or career technical certification. The program helps these young people with:
- Tuition and school fees
- Books and supplies
- Room and board
- Child care costs
- Computer/laptop equipment
- School supplies
- Transportation
- Household and hygiene items
Even with financial aid and student loans, most foster and homeless youth cannot afford college or career technical certification. That’s why the New Jersey Foster Care Scholars Program is so important.
