Complaints about nursing staff in New Jersey are processed by the New Jersey Board of Nursing, a subsidiary of the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.
First, determine whether your complaint concerns a health hazard or a safety hazard at a public employer workplace. A safety hazard typically involves risk of accidental injury. A health hazard can cause changes to the body, such as allergic reactions or shortness of breath.
