Open Public Records Act

P.L. 2001, c. 404 (approved January 8, 2002, and effective July 7, 2002), changed the law concerning public access to government records.  This law addressed the public’s right of access to government records and the ways in which a custodian of government records provides access.  A readable version of the law, as amended over the years since enactment, is available here: https://www.nj.gov/grc/laws/act/.
