Enforcement Actions

The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Services (CLIS) under the Public Health and Environmental Laboratories Division is charged, by statute, with protecting the health and safety of New Jersey residents through licensing, inspecting, investigating, and enforcing clinical laboratories and blood banks' continued compliance.  CLIS may take enforcement actions when it is determined a laboratory or blood bank is not in compliance.
