Welcome to the New Jersey Drug Utilization Review (NJDUR) website. This site has been created to assist health care providers obtain information about the State's Medical Exception Program (MEP). The NJ Drug Utilization Review Board (DURB) is responsible for recommending standards for the Commissioners of the Department of Human Services and the Department of Health and Senior Services to consider for approval. Once accepted, these standards are incorporated into the State's claims processing system for pharmaceutical services.
