The Victim Services Unit supports the mission of the Field Operations Section and all other law enforcement agencies statewide by coordinating with State, County, and Municipal agencies to develop and implement domestic violence and sexual violence training programs, and continue to effectively work with road troopers to enhance training on the proper handling of these types of crimes and working with victims.
Victims may not have access to or be aware of the available resources and professional assistance. The Victim Services Unit staff is prepared to assist victims, witnesses and families with these issues.

As pursuant to P.L.2021, c.62, any law enforcement agency that has received a report of aggravated sexual assault or sexual assault shall make a packet of information available to the victim. These packets shall provide victims with County specific information. The packets are compiled and maintained by the County Prosecutor’s Office.
