The Draft 2008 Energy Master Plan (EMP) is available at the link below. The EMP addresses New Jersey's electricity and heating challenges. It provides a focal point for public debate about solutions to these challenges. Posted with the draft is a companion document, Implementation Strategies for the Draft EMP. Stakeholders can also review the document detailing computer modeling assumptions used for the Draft EMP.

Public Meetings on Draft EMP Public stakeholder meetings held April 28 and May 1 in Trenton provided overviews of the Draft EMP goals and action items. Comment on the Draft EMP will be taken at public hearings to be held in July (dates to be announced). Written comment may be submitted at any time at the link below.

Roundtables In addition, a series of public roundtable discussions with state and national energy experts are tentatively scheduled for late June. These will focus on energy demand, energy supply and economic growth. Exact schedules for these and other EMP meetings will be posted here.
