(TRENTON) – Midland Farms, a Menands, N.Y.-based dairy that ships milk into northern New Jersey, is voluntarily recalling certain milk products with a “sell by” date of September 24, due to improper pasteurization.

The dairy announced the recall through the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets on Thursday, September 8. Follow-up inquires by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture determined that the milk products could be in stores throughout all northern New Jersey counties, as far south as New Brunswick.

While the recalled products have not been found to be contaminated with any harmful pathogens, the company is voluntarily recalling all production from that day as a precautionary measure.

Included in the recall are milk products sold in plastic containers and marketed under the brand names Midland Farms, Corrado’s Market, Jersey Dairy Farms and Trade Fair Premium, all of which, Midland said, were produced during a single day. The recalled products are:
