Alice D. Corsey

Alice Corsey was appointed by Gov. Brendan T. Byrne in 1977 as one of the original members of the Casino Control Commission. Previously, she was a member and Vice-President of the Deptford Township School Board. She was active as a leader and worker in civic and community affairs.

Corsey was a graduate of Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, North Carolina. She held positions at the Heinemann Medical College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia. She was also a member of the Gloucester Community College Board of Trustees.

Corsey departed the Commission in August 1980. She died on July 1, 1997.
