Resource Tool is Now Available to Help Navigate DCA Programs
TRENTON, NJ – The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) today announced the launch of the DCA Programs Book, which is a new tool that includes the various resources and program opportunities available through the Department, dependent on funding availability. DCA provides a diverse range of programs and services that respond to issues of public concern in New Jersey. The Programs Book will assist residents, local governments, and private partners in easily accessing program and staffing information to address their needs. The Programs Book is available now on the DCA website at https://www.nj.gov/dca.
“At DCA, we are problem-solvers and are always looking for creative solutions. That is why we developed the DCA Programs Book in a digital format to put information at your fingertips,” said DCA Commissioner Jacquelyn A. Suárez. “DCA is made up of seven divisions and five affiliate agencies each overseeing different subject areas from fire and building safety to housing to disaster recovery and local government services just to name a few. This tool will categorize the DCA divisions and make accessing the resources and technical support that individuals may be looking for much easier. This reference tool depicts the many ways that DCA delivers administrative guidance, financial support, and technical assistance to local governments, community development organizations, businesses, and individuals to improve the quality of life in New Jersey.”
The DCA Programs Book is graphically designed for ease of use, in addition to providing detailed and descriptive program content, phone numbers, web addresses, and links so that readers may avail themselves of all that DCA offers in service to the public. Each division is broken down by bureau, office, or program.
DCA offers a wide range of programs and services, including local government management and finance, affordable housing production, fire safety, building safety, community planning and development, disaster recovery and mitigation, historic preservation, and information privacy.
