A Roadmap to Who's Who Before, During, and After Disasters in New Jersey (Webinar)
This 90-minute webinar hosted by FEMA Region 2 occurred on October 11, 2022 and provided speed learning and networking introductions to Federal, State, County and other Community Partners who plan, prepare, respond to, assist in recovery and guide mitigation in New Jersey for disaster events. This webinar offered the audience an opportunity to meet the disaster partners who work in collaboration to address every phase of the Disaster Cycle in New Jersey.

Public Assistance, Hazard Mitigation Assistance | Federal Emergency Management Agency & NJ Office of Emergency Management
FEMA’s Public Assistance Program is available to state, tribal, territorial, and local governments, and certain types of private non-profits and offers supplemental grants for costs such as debris removal, life-saving emergency protective measures, and restoring public infrastructure. The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management’s Public Assistance Unit will assist New Jersey public entities with identifying, pursuing and capturing federal funding for repairs, restorations, reconstruction or replacement of public facilities or infrastructure damaged or destroyed by a disaster. FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grants provide funding for activities that reduce the impact of future disasters. Programs include: Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC), Hazard Mitigation Assistance Program (HMGP), Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA). Local governments may apply for funding on behalf of businesses and homeowners.

Disaster Loans | US Small Business Administration
The US Small Business Administration offers low-interest disaster loans to private non-profits. SBA disaster loans can be used to repair or replace the following items damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster: real estate, machinery and equipment, and inventory and business assets.
