    The New Jersey Department of Veterans Affairs was established by P.L.2025, c.139 and is the principal department responsible for the delivery of state-provided veterans benefits, programs, and services. 

    Our mission is to deliver exceptional services, support, and advocacy for Garden State Veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors. DVA honors those who have served and the people who love them by delivering access to earned benefits, programs, and resources.

    The New Jersey Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) is committed to ensuring meaningful access to its programs, services, and resources for individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP). Language assistance services are provided at no cost to the public.

    In accordance with New Jersey’s Language Access Law, P.L. 2023, c.263, DVA has developed this Language Access Plan as part of the State’s broader commitment to equitable and accessible government services for New Jersey’s diverse communities.
