On the first official day of fall, the Veterans Memorial Home at Vineland welcomed in the season with an Apple Harvest Hoedown!

The event was presented in grand autumnal style, with festive seasonal visuals including fall flowers, piles of earth-toned leaves, stacks of hay, and an array of pumpkins and gourds. Staff and residents alike came together to indulge in a perfect blend of fall flavors and fun!

Attendees were treated to autumn classics such as apple pie, apple cider and pumpkin pie, but the biggest hit of the day were the apple nachos, which consisted of sliced apple wedges that guests were invited to load up with indulgent toppings of their choice, including both caramel and peanut butter sauces, marshmallows, chopped nuts, Reese’s pieces, crushed Oreos and more!
