Camile EarleCamile Earle earned degrees in Behavioral Science and Pan-African Studies at Drew University while mentoring Newark students through the Ready Foundation and 10,000 Mentors.  Currently, she is obtaining a Masters in Teaching, specializing in National Board Certification and Reading The cornerstone of her teaching methods lies in the idea that “education is the only solid bridge we may rely on to transport us over troubled waters”.  Her copy written literacy formulas awarded over 95% of her students proficient scores on their state exams.    Camile knows that labeling students as "low achievers" with "behavioral problems" only masks the true potential within them. For this reason she deliberately seeks out such students, hoping to change their destinies by changing how they see themselves. To accomplish this goal, she facilitates rather than lectures in the classroom, creating a framework for lessons and then encouraging her students to personalize the subject matter. In the process they gain confidence as they create their own literary voices and writing styles.
