Anti-Bullying Task Force

In March 2012, an amendment to the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) established an Anti-Bullying Task Force (ABTF) to examine implementation of the ABR and present recommendations to effectively address bullying in schools. During the ABTF’s existence (2012-2016) they released multiple reports.

P.L. 2019, c. 179 established a new Anti-Bullying Task Force charged with studying and evaluating the current implementation of the ABR.  This task force was in existence from June - December 2023 at which time they released their final report of findings and recommendations.

Both Task Forces were established "in but not of" the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE). This web page is being provided by the NJDOE for the ABTF to post their reports.
