RECOGNIZED CERTIFICATION AGENCIES

New Jersey Department of Health reviews and approves certification agencies that provide training and issue certifications required to be maintained by staff under the Youth Camp (N.J.A.C. 8:25) and Public Recreational Bathing(N.J.A.C. 8:26) Standards.

Current Recognized Certifications List [PDF] is routinely updated by the Department.

DAYCARES, SCHOOLS AND HIGHER EDUCATION (DSH) TEAM TRAININGS

DSH Team trainings are now available for childcare providers on New Jersey Child Care Information Systems (NJCCIS). NJCCIS is an online database that helps participants track their annual professional development hours, in addition to offering free on-demand trainings.

To access DSH Team courses, first log in or create an account on NJCCIS. After you are logged in, go to "Registry" and select “Find Professional Development & Training Classes.” You can then select “New Jersey Department of Health” under “Training Agency” to locate available DSH trainings.
