PROGRAM NOTICE AS OF FEBRUARY 16, 2024
In accordance with N.J.A.C. 10:52B-2.1(a)2, the Department of Human Services is making all submitted Fee and Expenditure Reports available for review and comment by affected hospitals and other interested parties. Comments will be considered in the review of all reports. The 21-day review period for Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Passaic Counties commences on February 16, 2024 and will conclude on March 8, 2024. Requests for reports and comments may be submitted to Dmahs.hospcountyfee@dhs.state.nj.us
P.L.2022, c.61./A4091 and N.J.A.C. 10:52B established the expanded New Jersey County Option Hospital Fee Program to support local hospitals and to ensure that they continue to provide necessary services to low-income residents. The Act limits eligibility to a maximum of twelve counties and delineates criteria for eligibility. The below information and documents are for the use of eligible counties and the hospitals within their borders.
