School Register

We will be collecting the 2012 - 2013 School Register Summary this June. Beginning with the 2013-14 school year, the school register summary will no longer be collected. The NJ SMART 'end of year' data collection will be used as the primary source for enrollment and attendance data. Accurate and careful tracking of student enrollment and attendance is still mandatory. The requirements for tracking student attendance and accounting can be found in subchapter 8 of the School District Operations Administrative code, 6A:32.

The district has the authority to select a convenient method for tracking each students daily attendance. The year-end summary data for each student will be entered as 'cumulative days of enrollment' and 'cumulative days present' in the NJ Smart End of Year data collection.
