Hamilton Rail Station
Certain parts of the NJ Transit center known as the Hamilton Rail Station, located in the Township of Hamilton in Mercer County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic on these sections of the transit center is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided within the transit center.
(b) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Along any vertical curb area within the entire complex.
(c) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” areas for the use of persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.5:
(1) Handicapped Parking:
(A) Within the designated parking areas in the parking lot adjacent to the south of the rail station building.
(d) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
(1) Mid-block bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Along Rail Platform Road at Outer Loop Road and Klockner Rad Entrance Road between 251 feet south of the southerly curb line of Outer Loop Road and a point 135 feet southerly therefrom.
(e) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking taxi stand” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than taxis, is prohibited at all times:
(1) Taxi stands:
(A) Along Rail Platform Road between a point 206 feet south of the southerly curb line of Outer Loop Road and a point 45 feet southerly therefrom.
(f) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 15 MPH along Outer Loop Road for its entire length.
(B) Zone 2: 15 MPH along Klockner Road Entrance Road for its entire length.
(C) Zone 3: 15 MPH along Bus Facility Loop Road for its entire length.
(D) Zone 4: 15 MPH along East Access Road for its entire length.
(E) Zone 5: 15 MPH along Sloan Avenue Entrance Road for its entire length.
(g) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated for one way traffic:
(1) One-way streets in the northbound direction:
(A) Along the Kiss and Ride Parking Area between the southerly intersection with Rail Platform Road and the northerly intersection with Rail Platform Road.
(2) One-way streets in the southbound direction:
(A) Along Rail Platform Road between the southerly curb line of Bus Drive and a point 1,050 feet southerly therefrom (parking permitted in the designated areas between the painted lines.
(3) One-way streets in the eastbound direction:
(A) Along Klockner Road Entrance Road between Klockner Road and the Sloan Avenue Entrance Road.
(h) Turning movements for the certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby regulated as follows:
(1) No left turns for the northbound direction of traffic:
(A) From northbound on Sloan Avenue Entrance Road onto westbound on Klockner Road Entrance Road
(2) No right turns for the southbound direction of traffic:
(A) From southbound on Rail Platform Road onto westbound on Klockner Entrance Road.
(i) Lane usage for the certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection is hereby regulated as follows:
(1) Left lane for left turn only:
(A) Along Klockner Road Entrance Road for the eastbound direction.
(j) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated as stop intersections:
(1) Stop signs shall be installed:
(A) At the intersection of Klockner Road Entrance Road, Sloan Avenue Entrance Road, Rail Platform Road, and Outer Loop Road for traffic traveling along Klockner Road Entrance Road, Sloan Avenue Entrance Road, and Rail Platform Road.
(k) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated as yield intersections:
(1) Yield signs shall be installed:
(A) At the intersection of Sloan Avenue Entrance Road and Outer Loop Road for the right turn lane of Sloan Avenue Entrance Road.
(B) At the intersection of East Access Road and Outer Loop Road for the right turn lane of East Access Road.
(l) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated as through streets, where stop signs are installed on the near right side of each street intersecting the through street except where yield signs are provided for in the designation:
(1) Through streets for both directions of traffic:
(A) Along Outer Loop Road between Sloan Avenue Entrance Road and Rail Platform Road.
(B) Along Klockner Road Entrance Road between Klockner Road and Sloan Avenue Entrance Road.
(C) Along Rail Platform Road between the northerly intersection of Outer Loop Road and the southerly intersection of Outer Loop Road.
(D) Along Lane #1 between Outer Loop Road and its westerly terminus.
(E) Along Lane #2 between Outer Loop Road and its westerly terminus.
(F) Along Lane #3 between Outer Loop Road and its westerly terminus.
(m) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as mid-block crosswalks:
(1) Mid-block crosswalks:
(A) Along Rail Platform Road between a point 200 feet south of the southerly curb line of Outer Loop Road and a point 10 feet southerly therefrom.
(B) Along Rail Platform Road between a point 465 feet south of the southerly curb line of Outer Loop Road and a point 10 feet southerly therefrom.
(C) Along Rail Platform Road between a point 630 feet south of the southerly curb line of Outer Loop Road and a point 10 feet southerly therefrom.
(D) Along Rail Platform Road between a point 745 feet south of the southerly curb line of Outer Loop Road and a point 10 feet southerly therefrom.
(n) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “tow-away zones”, where any vehicle parked or standing may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owners or operators expense:
(1) Tow-Away Zones:
(A) Any vehicles parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills, any grassy area, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard.
