Long Branch Rail Station
Certain parts of the NJ Transit center known as the Long Branch Rail Station, located in the City of Long Branch in Monmouth County, are under New Jersey Department of Transportation jurisdiction.  Traffic on these sections of the transit center is hereby controlled by the following regulations:
(a) All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided within the transit center.
(b) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Along all lanes and aisles as indicated on the site plan.
(c) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “time limit parking” zones where parking is permitted as described:
(1) Twelve (12) hour time limit parking, daily:
(A) Within all numbered parking spaces within the entire complex.
(d) The certain parts of the transit complex described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” areas for the use of persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.5:
(1) Handicapped parking:
(A) Within the designated parking areas as indicated on the site plan, during all hours.
(e) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated for one way traffic:
(1) One-way streets in the southbound (counterclockwise) direction:
(A) Along Morris Passenger Drop-Off Lane between Morris Avenue and Lane “B”.
(f) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 15 MPH along all roadways and parking lots within the entire complex.
(g) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “tow-away zones”, where any vehicle parked or standing may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owners or operators expense:
(1) Tow-Away Zones:
(A) Any vehicles parked or standing as to obstruct or impede a normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills, any grassy area, pedestrian walkway, or present in any way a safety or traffic hazard.
(h) The certain parts of the transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as loading zones, where parking is prohibited at all times except for the loading or unloading of passengers:
(1) Loading zones along the west side:
(A) Along Lane “A” in front of the ticket sales building.
(B) Along Morris Avenue dead end as indicated on the site plan.
(i) The certain parts of transit center described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
(1) Bus stops along the southbound (westerly) side:
(A) Along Morris Drop-Off Lane between a point 60 feet south of the northerly curb line of Morris Avenue and extending 50 feet southerly therefrom.
