Speed Limits For State Roads

Route NJ 147
(a) The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 147 described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
1. In Cape May County:
i. In Middle Township:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between Route US 9 and 450 feet east of South Carolina Avenue (approximate mileposts 0.0 to 0.66); thence
(B) Zone 2: 50 MPH between 450 feet east of South Carolina Avenue and the westernmost end of the Beach Creek Bridge (approximate mileposts 0.66 to 3.2); thence
(C) Zone 3: 45 MPH between the westernmost end of the Beach Creek Bridge and the Middle Township-City of North Wildwood corporate line (approximate mileposts 3.2 to 3.24); thence
ii. In the City of North Wildwood:
(1) For both directions of traffic:
(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the City of North Wildwood-Middle Township corporate line and Anglesea Avenue (approximate mileposts 3.24 to 3.54); thence
(B) Zone 2: 30 MPH between Anglesea Avenue and New York Avenue (approximate mileposts 3.54 to 4.20).
