Christine Guhl-Sadovy is the President of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. She was appointed to the role in 2023 by Governor Murphy, following her service as the Cabinet Secretary in the Governor’s senior staff.

 

President Guhl-Sadovy previously worked at BPU as a staff person, where she rose to the position of Chief of Staff to President Joe Fiordaliso while helping advance key priorities including offshore wind, vehicle electrification, and community solar.

 

Prior to serving in the Murphy Administration, President Guhl-Sadovy held roles at the Planned Parenthood Action Fund of New Jersey and the national Sierra Club. 

 

President Guhl-Sadovy is a proud, lifelong New Jersey resident and is a graduate of Rutgers University. She serves on the board of Anchor House, Inc., a Trenton-based youth homelessness organization.
