Permitted & Licensed Cannabis Businesses

For Cannabis Business Operators:

Business permits and licenses to operate a cannabis business must be displayed prominently at the corresponding facility as required by N.J.A.C. 17:30A-7.6.

For the duration of a permit or license, businesses must:

  1. Submit to the jurisdiction of the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission and the courts of the State of New Jersey, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the State of New Jersey.
  2. Permit complete and immediate access by the NJ-CRC to the facility - including, but not limited to, its physical facilities and all documents and records (whether in electronic form or otherwise).
  3. Fully operate the approved security alarm and video monitoring systems.
  4. Fully operate the approved internal management system.
  5. Implement all standard operating procedures approved by the NJ-CRC related to the facility site.
  6. Maintain compliance with all requirements outlined in the NJ-CRC Operational Inspection Requirements Checklist.

Any violation of the conditions of this permit/license and/or the legal and regulatory requirements to operate a cannabis business in the State of New Jersey may result in the NJ-CRC taking action against the entity - including, but not limited to, suspending business operations, in accordance with the CREAMM Act, NJ-CRC's rules, and any other applicable laws.

Active Cannabis Business Permits & Licenses

These are the cannabis businesses permitted to operate in New Jersey. Each one is required to submit a renewal application to the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission every year. Each business may operate multiple facilities and more than one of a single type of business.
