Cannabis Regulatory Commission

Original Legislation: P.L. 2021 c.016

  • On February 22, 2021, the New Jersey Legislature approved P.L. 2021 c.016, known as the “New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization Act,” which concerns the regulation and use of cannabis, and amending and supplementing various parts of the statutory law.

Amendment: P.L. 2021 c.025 Assembly, No. 5342

  • On February 22, 2021, the New Jersey Legislature approved P.L. 2021 c.025 Assembly, No. 5342, which amended certain sections of the “New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization” (“CREAMM”) Act. The amendments include, but are not limited to, reference to certain monies being placed into an account within the CREAMM Fund known as the “Underage Deterrence and Prevention Account.” Here is a full copy the approved bill.
