NJ Career Assistance Navigator (NJCAN)
The New Jersey Career Assistance Navigator (NJCAN) is an Internet-based career navigation system for accurate, comprehensive, current, and relevant occupational, post-secondary school and financial aid information. This resource is funded by the New Jersey Department of Education and all user service and training are provided by the Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers, The State University complimentary to all users.
Through the NJCAN experience students will discover their interests, achieve personal career goals, plan for post-secondary options, and find the right individual career path to success for them. This resource will help students to develop the awareness, knowledge, attitudes, and skills to become career ready.
NJCAN also contains the latest national, New Jersey and local labor market data and projections updated regularly by the New Jersey Department of Labor as well as resources for those seeking employment.
