You read about it in the news and witness it in the streets: film and television production is flourishing in the Garden State. This surge of activity has created a great deal of revenue for our businesses and tremendous excitement for our residents. Moreover, many New Jerseyans who make their living in this industry can now work close to home. All the while, the state and its cities and towns continue to be showcased on movie and television screens throughout the world.

Infrastructure continues to grow, sending a clear signal to Hollywood and the rest of the world that the New Jersey film and television industry is here to stay.
The times are invigorating, to be sure. So, as the team at The New Jersey Motion Picture & Television Commission assembles our 2021 Annual Report, we are very pleased to share these impressive statistics.
