Call for Lightning Talks! Next NJGF General Meeting on Thursday, June 4

Would you like to share an interesting project, application, or other use of geospatial technology?

This is your opportunity to deliver a brief ~6 minute presentation on your latest geospatial endeavors and learn from other professionals in the NJ Geospatial Forum community.

Potential topics may range from mobile applications, data modeling, LiDAR analysis, programming, surveying, projects utilizing GIS data, or any geospatial hobby or idea you would like to share.

Consultant organizations are welcome to submit lightning talk proposals highlighting a project they have completed or are currently conducting for a New Jersey–based client. Consultants may present either independently or jointly with their client. If needed, the NJGF Executive Committee may apply a limit to ensure a balanced program that features a wide range of GIS practitioners.

Please contact Matthew Duffy with your name, organization, presentation title, and presentation abstract by Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Please note: Lightning talks will be presented in-person at Rowan University Discovery Hall in Glassboro, NJ. Presenters will need to submit their presentation slides in advance of the meeting by Thursday, May 14, 2026. Submission directions will be sent upon presentation acceptance.

Lightning talks will take place at the next NJGF General Meeting on Thursday, June 4, 2026 starting at 10 a.m. at Rowan University Discovery Hall in Glassboro, NJ (campus map). Attendees will be able to view the presentations virtually via Microsoft Teams as well.
