Mendham Borough is located in Morris County. Although Mendham Borough is located entirely in the Planning Area of the Highlands region, where conformance with the Highlands Regional Master Plan (RMP) is not required, the borough is eligible for grant funding to support municipal-wide planning initiatives. Mendham Borough is currently petitioning the Highlands Council for a review of its master plan and development regulations for alignment with the Highlands Regional Master Plan (RMP) in the Planning Area portion of the borough. The staff Consistency Review and Recommendations Report below provides an overview and analysis of this review. The report is available for public comment through Friday, January 2, 2026.
