Ryan Gleason is an advocate and neighborhood revitalization professional with over 10 years’ experience working with small businesses, residents, and governments to create visible and tangible change in their communities. He served as the Director of Government Affairs for the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and represented its 700+ business members at all levels. He also served as the first Executive Director of the Downtown Denville Business Improvement District before joining the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs as a grant manager for 10 New Jersey municipalities enrolled in the Neighborhood Preservation Program. 

As Manager of the Business Enhancement Office, Ryan will provide technical assistance, expertise, and support to municipalities, business and special improvement districts, small businesses, and other stakeholders looking to grow and enhance their downtowns and commercial districts.
