Route NJ 124
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 124 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
1. In Morris County:
i. In the Town of Morristown:
(1) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Beginning at a point 62 feet west of the westerly curb line of Madison Street and extending to a point 110 feet east of the easterly curb line of Madison Street.
(B) Beginning at a point 190 feet east of the easterly curb line of Madison Street to Madison Avenue.
(C) Beginning at the easterly curb line of South Street and extending to a point 1,805 feet easterly therefrom.
(D) Beginning at a point 1,910 feet east of the easterly curb line of South Street to Turtle Road.
(E) Beginning at a point 105 feet east of the easterly curb line of Turtle Road and the Morristown Town-Morris Township corporate line.
(2) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between the Morris Township-Morristown Town corporate line and extending to a point 105 feet east of the easterly curb line of Franklin Street.
(B) Beginning at the westerly curb line of Franklin Street and the most easterly driveway of the Morristown Memorial Hospital.
(C) Beginning at a point 100 feet west of the most westerly curb line of the most easterly driveway of the Morristown Memorial Hospital and extending to a point 56 feet west to the westerly curb line of Elm Street.
(D) Beginning at a point 430 feet west of the westerly curb line of Elm Street and extending to a point 88 feet westerly therefrom.
(E) Beginning at a point 606 feet west of the westerly curb line of Elm Street and extending to a point 192 feet westerly therefrom.
(F) Beginning at a point 226 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Community Place and extending to a point 56 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of DeHart Street.
(G) Beginning at the easterly curb line of South Park Place and extending to a point 54 feet east easterly therefrom.
ii. In the Township of Morris:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iii. In the Borough of Madison:
(1) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between the Morris Township-Madison Borough corporate line and extending to a point 90 feet east of the easterly curb line of Green Village Road.
(B) Beginning at a point 125 feet east of the prolongation of the easterly curb line of Alexander Avenue and extending to a point 345 feet easterly therefrom (approximate milepost 4.90).
(C) Beginning at a point 725 feet west of the westerly curb line of Rosedale Avenue and the Madison Borough-Chatham Borough corporate line.
(2) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between the Chatham Borough–Madison Borough corporate line and Prospect Street.
(B) Beginning at a point 90 feet east of Green Village Road and the Madison Borough-Morris Township corporate line.
iv. In the Borough of Chatham:
(1) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between the easterly curb line of Division Avenue and the westerly curb line of Railroad Plaza North.
(B) Between the easterly curb line of Minton Avenue and the Chatham Borough-City of Summit corporate line.
(2) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between the easterly curb line of Division Avenue and the westerly curb line of Railroad Plaza North.
(B) Beginning at a point 110 feet west of the westerly curb line of North Summit Avenue and the easterly curb line of North Hillside Avenue.
(C) Between the westerly curb line of Center Street and the easterly curb line of Elmwood Avenue.
(D) Between the westerly curb line of Coleman Avenue and the easterly curb line of Brooklake Road.
2. In Union County:
i. In the Township of Springfield:
(1) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between Morris Avenue and the junction of Springfield Avenue.
(2) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between the prolongation of the easterly curb line of Millburn Avenue and extending to a point 494 feet easterly therefrom.
(B) Between Morris Avenue and the ramp to Main Street.
(C) Beginning at a point 300 feet east of Short Hills Avenue and extending to a point 300 feet west of Short Hills Avenue.
ii. In the Township of Union:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) Beginning at a point 100 feet east of the easterly curb line of Vaux Hall Road and extending to a point 100 feet west of Vaux Hall Road.
3. In Essex County:
i.   In the Township of Maplewood:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 124 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking certain hours” zones where parking is permitted as described:
1. In Morris County:
i. In the Town of Morristown:
(1) No Stopping or Standing along the eastbound (southerly) side between the hours of 2:00 AM and 10:00 AM Monday through Sunday:
(A) Between a point 200 feet east of the easterly curb line of Market Street and extending to a point 62 feet west of the westerly curb line of Madison Street.
(B) Between a point 110 feet east of the easterly curb line of Madison Street and extending to a point 80 feet easterly therefrom.
(2) No Stopping or Standing along  the westbound (northerly) side between the hours of 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM Monday through Sunday:
(A) Between a point 56 feet west of the westerly curb line of Elm Street and extending to a point 374 feet westerly therefrom.
(B) Between a point 518 feet west of the westerly curb line of Elm Street and extending to a point 88 feet westerly therefrom.
(C) Between a point 158 feet east of the easterly curb line of Pine Street and extending to a point 226 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Community Place.
(D) Beginning at a point 54 feet east of the easterly curb line of South Park Place and extending to a point 54 feet easterly therefrom.
2. In Union County:
i. In the Township of Springfield:
(1) No Stopping or Standing along along the eastbound (southerly) side between the hours of 7:00 AM and 12:00 Midnight except Sundays:
(A) Within the four lane sections of the roadway between Walnut Court and Caldwell Place.
(2) No Stopping or Standing along the eastbound (southerly) side between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, except for legal holidays:
(A) Between a point 65 feet east of the easterly curb line of Caldwell Place and extending to a point 165 feet easterly therefrom.
(B) Between a point 35 feet east of the easterly curb line of Center Street and extending to a point 115 feet easterly therefrom.
(3) No Stopping or Standing along the westbound (northerly) side between the hours of 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM Monday through Sunday:
(A) Within the four lane section of the roadway between Mountain Avenue and Caldwell Place.
(c) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 124 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
1. In Morris County:
i. In the Town of Morristown:
(1) Far side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Turtle Road - beginning at the easterly curb line of Turtle Road and extending to a point 105 feet easterly therefrom.
(2) Mid-block bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) South Street - beginning at a point 1,805 feet east of the easterly curb line of South Street and extending to a point 135 feet easterly therefrom.
(3) Near side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Franklin Street - along beginning at the easterly curb line of Franklin Street and extending to a point 105 feet easterly therefrom.

(d) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 124 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “loading zones”, where parking is prohibited as described:
1. In Morris County:
i. In the Town of Morristown:
(1) No parking – loading zone along the westbound (northerly) side between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily, except Sundays and holidays:
(A) Beginning at a point 56 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of DeHart Street and extending to a point 50 feet westerly therefrom.
(B) Beginning at a point 35 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Community Place and extending to a point 50 feet westerly therefrom.
ii. In Chatham Borough:
(1) No parking – loading zone along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Beginning at a point 100 feet west of the westerly curb line of South Passaic Avenue and extending to a point 150 feet westerly therefrom.
(e) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 124 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “handicapped parking” spaces for the use of persons who have been issued special vehicle identification cards, plates, or placards by the Motor Vehicle Commission in accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-197.5:
1. In Morris County:
i. In the Borough of Chatham:
(1) Handicapped parking along the the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Beginning at a point 270 feet east of the easterly curb line of North Passaic Avenue and extending to a point 22 feet easterly therefrom. (In front of 217 Main Street)
(f) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 124 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “time limit parking” zones where parking is permitted as described:
1. In Union County:
i. In the Township of Union:
(1) Two (2) hours time limit parking between the hours of 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM along the eastbound (southerly) side, Monday through Sunday:
(A) Between the prolongations of the easterly curb line of Byron Terrace and the westerly curb line of Millburn Avenue (County Route 630).
2. In Essex County:
i. In the Township of Maplewood:
(1) One (1) hour time limit parking between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (except Sundays and Holidays) along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between the Irvington Township-Maplewood Township corporate line and the Maplewood Township-Union Township corporate line.
(2) One (1) hour time limit parking between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (except Sundays and Holidays) along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Beginning at a point 90 feet west of the westerly curb line of Boyden Avenue and extending to a point 830 feet westerly therefrom.
(B) Beginning at a point 35 feet west of the westerly curb line of Tuscan Road and extending to a point 80 feet westerly therefrom.
(C) Beginning at a point 105 feet west of the westerly curb line of Tuscan Street and extending to a point 315 feet west of the westerly curb line of Broadview Avenue.
(3) Two (2) hour time limit parking between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (except Sundays and Holidays) along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between Vermont Street and Tuscan Street.
(g) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 124 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking certain hours for certain classes of vehicles” zones where parking is permitted as described:
1. In Union County:
i.  In Union Township:
(1) No stopping or standing for tractor trailers from 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Beginning at a point measured from the easterly curb line of Stiles Avenue (approximate milepost 13.02) to the westerly curb line of Russell Street (approximate milepost 13.12).
(2) No stopping or standing for tractor trailers from 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Beginning at a point measured from the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Russell Street (approximate milepost 13.12) to the easterly curb line of Stiles Avenue (approximate milepost 13.02).
