Southern New Jersey Port Complex

The Southern New Jersey Port Complex plays a vital role in moving a wide variety of products crucial to our quality of life and the economic well-being of the Delaware Valley. In 2011, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) commissioned an economic analysis of the economic impact of the southern New Jersey port system that includes the South Jersey Port Corporation facilities in Camden, Gloucester, Paulsboro and Salem as well as the private terminals in Gloucester City. This report is based on economic models developed by the Bloustein School of Planning and Policy at Rutgers University.
