Amy Scartocci
Amy Scartocci is the Assistant Division Director overseeing Housing and Resource Development for the Division of Developmental Disabilities. In this role she oversees Housing and Program Development across the state, as well as administration of the Division’s Housing Subsidy Program.
Amy joined the Division in 2003, where much of her work has been to identify and develop home and community based housing options to support and provide choice for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). She has held leadership roles to support major projects and initiatives throughout her state service, including the support of activities related compliance with the Federal Home and Community Based Services Settings Rule and related Statewide Transition Plan.
Amy has received the New Jersey Social Innovation Award for Housing and Community Development that recognized her achievements in innovative, attainable, stable and permanent housing service models that strengthen individuals, families, and communities.
Prior to joining the Division, Amy worked in community settings that supported people with IDD and mental health needs. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Tech and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Monmouth University.
