New Cover All Kids

NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid provides health care coverage to New Jersey children under age 19 whose family income is at or below 355% of the Federal Poverty Level. For a family of 4, that is $9,230 a month (2024 guidelines).

On January 1, 2023, under the Cover All Kids initiative, NJ FamilyCare expanded to cover children under 19, regardless of their immigration status. Children still have to meet all other NJ FamilyCare guidelines, including income, to qualify. If you have questions about this initiative, visit the Cover All Kids Frequently Asked Questions.
