Private Career School (PCS) Transcripts and Records

The New Jersey Department of Education does not maintain records from closed private career schools (PCS). See the Career Readiness webpage Private Career School Students (PCS) on possibly obtaining PCS records from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development's Training Evaluation Unit.

Office of the State Board

The Office of the State Board serves as a liaison between the Commissioner and the State Board of Education (SBOE) and between the State Board and the public.

The office provides the following support services:

  • Administrative code review process 
  • Coordination of public testimony sessions
  • Coordination of State Board meetings
  • Equivalency and waiver process
  • Prepares and conducts orientation for new board members and senior staff
  • Special projects and committees
  • State Board-related activities
