The New Jersey Department of the Treasury is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce. In 2022, an advisory group established the framework for Treasury Together, an initiative launched in early 2023. To further this mission, Treasury created the Workforce Engagement Unit, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs and policies that support Treasury’s comprehensive inclusion and equity goals, ensuring a work environment where inclusivity and belonging are prioritized at all levels.
Since its inception, the Workforce Engagement Unit has expanded upon the original Treasury Together framework and introduced several new approaches and strategies to accomplish Treasury’s mission, objectives, and goals for optimal workforce engagement.
