Sponsor Programs for Children and Families
Your charitable donations will make a difference in the lives of New Jersey's children. Support one or both of these valuable programs below.
The New Jersey Children’s Trust Fund (NJCTF) is a public/private partnership created by law to fund child abuse and neglect prevention, identification, and treatment programs in New Jersey.
NJCTF is primarily supported through a check-off on New Jersey residents' annual state income tax filings, though the fund can also receive individual and corporate donations for the purposes of preventing child maltreatment. The New Jersey Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect oversees and approves expenditures from the fund, with priority given to evidence-based and evidence-informed prevention programs and innovative initiatives.
Frances Day attributed her interest in child welfare to having been orphaned and raised by a loving and devoted foster mother. Day traveled the state by bicycle, investigating prospective homes for children.
The Frances Day Scholarship Fund was established in 1901 to award New Jersey youth currently or formerly in foster care scholarships for post-secondary education.
To be eligible youth must have been placed in an out-of-home setting at the age of 12 or older and remained in care for a minimum of six cumulative months.
Donate today by checking off the donation line on your NJ state tax return and help spread the word by encouraging friends and neighbors to support the New Jersey Children's Trust Fund.
