Ribboncutting scheduled for Hightstown Bypass


Transportation Commissioner James Weinstein will join state, county and local officials to cut the ribbon for the Hightstown Bypass (Route 133) on Tuesday, November 30, 1999 at 12 Noon in East Windsor Township. The ceremony will be held on the new Route 133 bridge (eastbound) over Route 130.

The Hightstown Bypass is a 3.8 mile, four lane freeway that connects Route 571 to Route 33 in a northerly alignment around the Borough of Hightstown. The project is located in East Windsor Township. Work began on the $65 million project in September of 1996.
