Commissioner Fox to present check for
Ivy Avenue bridge project, Bergen County

Transportation Commissioner Jamie Fox will present a check tomorrow to the Borough of Haworth for the construction of a new bridge adjacent to the Ivy Avenue bridge in Haworth, Bergen County.

The check presentation will be held at 2:30 p.m on Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at the Ivy Avenue bridge, Borough of Haworth, Bergen County.

The Ivy Avenue bridge is a structurally-deficient wooden timber bridge that is the oldest still standing in Bergen County. The bridge carries traffic across the CSX rail line. NJDOT will provide $750,000 in local aid funding for the estimated $1.36 million project.
