Health and Welfare Benefit Administration Services

Notice is hereby given that the State of New Jersey intends to enter into a publically advertised cooperative purchasing agreement for the administration of enrollment applications, as well as benefits administration of the State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) and School Employees' Health Benefits Program (SEHBP).

Under N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2, the State of New Jersey is authorized to join competitively bid and awarded cooperative purchasing agreements.

The State of New Jersey anticipates joining the Administrative Management Solutions contract led by the Region 14 Education Service Center through the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (NCPA) on or about December 2022. The State of New Jersey expects to award contracts to vendors awarded a Master Agreement by the Lead State that also meet New Jersey compliance requirements and execute a New Jersey Participating Addendum.

The Health and Welfare Benefit Administration Services contract has a term of April 19, 2022 through April 30, 2025, with the option to extend up to two (2) one (1) year periods.
