Project Need

The purpose of this project is to provide pavement rehabilitation along Route 18 from milepost 35.4 to milepost 39.5 in both the northbound and southbound directions. Drainage improvements will be constructed to alleviate existing drainage deficiencies and flooding conditions. Additional operational and safety improvements will be implemented to enhance vehicular and pedestrian safety as well as reduce congestion along Route 18 at the Edgeboro Road and Tices Lane intersections. Sidewalk, curb ramps, curb, guiderail, sidewalk connectivity, and traffic signal deficiencies will also be addressed.
