What's going on? |
A. |
The project will:
- Eliminate the traffic light.
- Build an overpass to carry Meadow Road over Route 1 with ramps to north- and southbound Route 1.
- Widen Route 1 by one lane between Carnegie Center Boulevard and Alexander Road.
- Realign Route 1 to connect to improved Meadow Road east of Route 1.
- Improve and relocate Meadow Road between Route 1 and Clarksville Road.
- Build a connector road between Carnegie Center loop road and the relocated Meadow Road.
- Build a new "collector-distributor" road on the northbound side of Route 1 from south of Meadow Road to Carnegie Center
Boulevard.
