Office of the Secretary of Higher EducationThe Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program (CAIGP) is a signature initiative of the State of New Jersey to align higher education with labor market needs, build pathways into high-demand industries, and advance equity in experiential learning.
The grant program aims to foster mutually beneficial relationships between New Jersey's college students and New Jersey-based employers. It provides funding to New Jersey employers who are interested in hosting New Jersey college students, including those who currently attend or graduated from an in-state college or university in the last 12 months or are New Jersey residents attending a college out of state for a summer internship, from June through August.
The New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education offers this grant in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
