The Attorney General oversees the Department of Law & Public Safety with the support of his executive leadership team. The team advises the Attorney General on legal, policy, and administrative matters and assists with the day-to-day supervision of the Department’s divisions and initiatives.
Elizabeth E. Ruebman is Special Advisor for Victim Services. Elizabeth has worked in government and public policy and much of Elizabeth’s career has focused on the intersection of victim services, public safety strategy, and criminal justice reform. Most recently Elizabeth worked with the City of Newark to develop a violence reduction strategy and managed a statewide chapter of crime survivors to advance survivor-centered policies. Elizabeth graduated from Georgetown University and received her Master’s degree at George Washington University.
