The 2023 theme is "Air Sports and the Environment!"

The Department would like to thank all the entries for this year's Aviation Art contest. As you can see all the art work is fantastic.

These were the art contest entries for this year 2023 in no particular order. Each entry was ranked and the following winners emerged. The top 3 in each age group will advance to Nationals! Thank you all for participating.

We are proud to announce that our very own young artist, Yuhan Lam, who won 1st place winner in the Group 1 (ages 6-9) category at the state level (NJDOT), earned 1st place position in same category at the national level (NASAO) and earned 2nd place overall at the international level (FAI). This year, NASAO received over 150 pieces of art from 20 participating states in the three categories. FAI received 79 pieces of art in the three categories from the following participating countries: China, Finland, France, Hungary, India, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Thailand and USA.
