Long-Term Economic Monitoring Program and Data

The Pinelands Commission is re-evaluating the Long Term Economic report variables and method of distribution. Recommendations from report users and economic experts have been gathered and evaluated. Based on those recommendations, the Commission plans to expand the number of variables included in the report and to release the data on a rolling basis via the Pinelands Commission website. Additional actions will be necessary to achieve the goal of releasing the data, graphs, and maps through an interactive platform that captures not only the regional geography of the data, but also the municipal level facts. The municipal fact book will not be available immediately.

During the interim, the variables included in the annual report will be provided as individual data briefs in PDF format. As the data become available and after it has been processed to mirror the format of past reports, briefs will be posted to this webpage. Each updated brief will be accessible through a link in the “Data Brief” column of the table below. Where the data has not been updated, we invite the user to review the 2017 Annual Report (covering data up through 2016) which is available through links on this page. Variables that are new and have not yet been collected or processed are simply noted as “new”. No brief or map has been prepared yet for those variables. Users may wish to visit this site periodically to review new variable reports as they will be updated on a rolling basis.
