The Hon. Tahesha Way, Lt. Governor and Secretary of State

Secretary Way Named President-Elect of the National Association of Secretaries of State

Des Moines, Iowa – Today, at the 2021 Summer Conference of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), New Jersey Secretary of State Tahesha Way was inducted as the organization’s President-elect. As President-elect, Secretary Way will continue to serve as a member of the NASS Executive Board and is expected to assume the role of NASS President for the 2022-2023 term beginning next July.

“I am honored to continue serving my fellow Secretaries of State as a member of the NASS Executive Board and appreciate the trust they are placing in me as this organization’s next President,” said Secretary Way.

The full 2021-2022 NASS Executive Board is as follows:
