TRENTON, NJ - New Jersey business owners can now easily access all they need to know about available assistance and incentive programs in the state thanks to a new addition to the New Jersey Business Action Center’s website.
NJBAC, a division of the Department of State, is a business-first resource that can help businesses get answers from government agencies, direct them to appropriate officials or contacts, and more.
Part of the Center’s mission is to make information about starting and growing a business in the Garden State readily accessible to main street businesses, the largest corporations, and every business in between.
The latest update to the NJBAC website does just that. The Business Assistance & Incentive Programs page, found at https://www.state.nj.us/state/ba-ip-guide/index.shtml, allows business owners to explore a wide range of topics.
They include:
The guide is a companion to the help businesses can also obtain directly from the NJBAC’s business advocates, a team of experts who understand the business climate and the regulations in place.
While our office is based in Trenton, our team members travel the Garden State each week helping businesses with the daily issues they face at no cost to them and in a confidential setting.
Our Business Helpline, 1-800-JERSEY-7, is staffed each weekday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with real people ready to answer questions. We pride ourselves on always getting back to clients within 24 hours if the questions they have require additional research.
As NJBAC Executive Director Melanie Willoughby often says, “We are from the government and we are here to help.”
