ABOUT SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The New Jersey Office of Faith Based Initiatives Sustainable Development Task Force’s (SDTF) purpose is to develop innovative approaches that establish it as the pre-imminent leader in effectively addressing economic concerns and community development through responsible, sustainable practices.

Our hope is to gauge interest and create a statewide alliance of faith-based organizations interested in making transformative change in their respective communities.

The key components and objectives of the NJ SDTF include but are not limited to:

  • Researching available pre-development funding
  • Educating the faith community on their role in sustainable development through in-person workshops
  • Develop alliances and communication with other organizations
  • Share resources locally, regionally, and nationally
